Steve Settimo has over 15 years of professional training, consulting, project management, sales, and executive sales management experience. Steve started his career as a Financial Planner before moving into corporate training and consulting with IBM. While working for IBM he worked with hundreds of companies including Wells Fargo, Mobil, The City of Los Angeles, Department of Water and Power, Metropolitan Water District, Boeing, Northrop, Kforce, Spherion, and many more. He has also worked with fast growth companies such as medical technology, commercial and community banking, and start-up companies. To pay his way through college, Steve worked as a bank teller, landscaper, fast food clerk, restaurant equipment salesperson, clothing retail salesperson, and a CNC machinist for an aerospace company. When training, Steve creates a comfortable and interactive atmosphere. His evaluations reflect his subject matter knowledge and fun, but to-the-point, delivery. His vast industry experience and patience allow him to relate with participants from clerk to executive levels. He has created leadership development programs for corporations. Additionally, he has developed a program that allows individuals to see deeper into themselves, their co-workers, and employees. Steve is an expert in the field of DISC behavioral patterns for managers, teams, musicians, couples, and families. Steve created DISC The Game™ and co-authored DISCfunctional® Relationships. Steve is also a Project Management Professional (PMI Certified). He specializes in project management, process re-engineering, and system integration and automation. He has led and participated in selecting, configuring, and implementing: LMS (Learning Management Systems), HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems), ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), Recruitment Best Practices, Compensation Programs, Affirmative Action Programs, and On-Boarding / Off-Boarding processes. Steve has his B.S. in Finance / Real Estate / Business Law from California Polytechnical University.
